Software License Agreement

1. License Grant

Subject to compliance with this Agreement and the Terms and Conditions, Conus Enterprises LLC grants you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to install and use Doc Merge Studio for your own personal or internal business purposes during an authorized trial or paid subscription period.

Each account may be used on up to two registered devices under the applicable license. Licenses may not be shared, transferred, resold, or used to provide unauthorized third-party access.

2. Restrictions

Except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise, you may not:

• copy, distribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense Doc Merge Studio;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software;
• modify the program or create unauthorized derivative works;
• bypass, disable, or interfere with activation, license, or device-limit controls;
• remove proprietary notices or falsely represent the software as your own; or
• use the software for unlawful purposes or to violate third-party rights.

3. Ownership and Your Content

Doc Merge Studio and its software code, designs, and related intellectual property remain the property of Conus Enterprises LLC and its licensors. This Agreement grants a license to use the software, not ownership of it.

You retain the rights you hold in documents and templates you create using the software. You are responsible for their content, accuracy, and any necessary permissions.

4. Account and License Verification

Use of the application may require internet access for account sign-in, activation, and periodic license validation. Access may be limited when a trial expires, a paid subscription ends, or an account exceeds its authorized device limit.

Deleting or uninstalling Doc Merge Studio does not cancel a recurring subscription. To stop future billing, use the cancellation process in our Terms and Conditions.

5. Updates and Compatibility

We may release bug fixes, updates, security patches, and feature improvements. Features and system requirements may change. We do not guarantee compatibility with every computer, third-party program, or future Windows configuration.

6. Termination

This license ends when its authorized period expires, the related subscription is terminated, or the Agreement is materially violated and access is terminated. When the license ends, you must stop using the software. Any non-waivable rights you have under applicable law remain unaffected.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doc Merge Studio is licensed “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation or suitability for a particular purpose. Mandatory statutory rights are not excluded.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Conus Enterprises LLC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from use of the software. The limitations in our Terms and Conditions apply to claims under this Agreement to the extent legally permitted.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by California law, subject to mandatory protections that apply under other applicable laws.
